What makes Core + Co so effective?

We exclusively use the Lagree Method on the patented Megaformer. 

Our classes are built around the concept of effective muscle stimulation, which occurs when muscles are under constant tension and worked to the point of exhaustion, giving you that long, lean, sculpted look.

You’ll work every muscle slowly, which triggers “slow twitch” muscle fibers, the part of the muscle that helps build endurance and burn fat.

Every move engages your core.  We love you to the core and are passionate about core engagement.  Our exercises focus on core stabilization and maintaining good form throughout every move.  Besides looking good, there are countless benefits to a strong core, including reduced risk of injury, better posture and balance, and improved heart health.

The Lagree Method adapts to each body to provide:

  1. EFFECTIVE RESISTANCE
    Lagree classes use spring resistance, allows for peak muscle contraction while reducing the stress on the joints and the connective tissue.

  2. EFFECTIVE RANGE OF MOTION
    Each movement is kept within a specific range of motion that targets the specific muscle or group of muscles.

  3. EFFECTIVE ANGLE
    With adjustable Lagree equipment, you can train at different angles to help recruit different muscle groups.

  4. EFFECTIVE TEMPO
    Slow and controlled movements keep the tension on muscles constant, which activates slow-twitch, fat-burning muscle fibers.

  5. EFFECTIVE DURATION
    Each set lasts 60 seconds or longer to stimulate fast- and slow-twitch muscle fibers. Transitions are kept to a minimum to keep the muscles working and the heart rate up.

  6. EFFECTIVE FORM
    Our focus on proper form ensures that you are working the correct muscles while minimizing the chance of injury.

  7. EFFECTIVE SEQUENCE
    Each routine is targeted to systematically recurit your muscles to exhaustion, giving you those Lagree shakes.

    The Megaformer works your body at all different angles and planes, ensuring a workout that is well-rounded and functional.
